Under the Affordable Care Act, all marketplace plans must cover preventive services with no out-of-pocket costs when you use an in-network provider.
$0 Cost: No copay, no coinsurance, and the deductible doesn't apply to preventive care.
Important: Services are only free when coded as "preventive." If issues are found and treatment begins, normal cost-sharing applies.
