Messages We Send

We send only these service messages. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never buy, rent or share phone lists.

1. Welcome after enrollment: one text when your enrollment is complete.
2. Appointment reminders: a reminder 24 hours and 1 hour before a consultation you booked with us.
3. Identity verification and document requests: when Covered California needs you to verify your identity, a text with a secure link on our own website to upload a photo of your ID, and up to two reminders (on day 3 and day 6) while the request is still open.
4. Messages from your agent: your Cover Health CA agent may send you one of our prepared service messages about your own appointment, application or enrollment.

Texts are sent only between 8 AM and 9 PM Pacific time.

How You Agree to Receive Texts

You choose whether to receive texts. The consent checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving our services; you can always reach us by phone or email instead. We record each consent with its date and time and the form it came from (for the confirmation page linked from our emails, also the IP address and browser used).

3. A link in an email from your agent

Existing clients may find a link in our emails that opens a confirmation page on coverhealthca.com. Texts start only after the client presses "Yes, sign me up for text alerts" on that page; opening the link alone records nothing.

Opting Out and Getting Help

• Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts after that. Reply START to subscribe again.
• Reply HELP for help, or call (877) 310-6480 or text (818) 350-2675.
• You can also ask us to stop texting you by phone or by email at [email protected].

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• Appointment reminder, 1 hour before

  Your Cover Health CA appointment starts in about an hour (2:30 PM). Reply STOP to opt out.

• Identity verification request (also sent as the day 3 and day 6 reminders)
